Embrace the clean energy!
Some people have accused Australian NSW Premier Barry O'Farrell of flip flopping on the issues of the carbon tax and clean energy. Formerly an opponent of the carbon tax, which holds polluters accountable for damage to air and water quality, O'Farrell recently welcomed the Clean Energy Finance Corporation headquarters to Sydney with open arms, despite a Coalition government promise to abolish the very same company which is funded by the carbon tax.
The CEFC will bring forty new jobs to Sydney which has probably helped O'Farrell to see the light and embrace a former adversary. Never too late to do the right thing, though, huh? Tell O'Farrell you're delighted that he has learned to love the carbon tax and you hope he will continue to support the environment.
We the undersigned fully support the road to Damascus moment that led you to quit hating the carbon tax and learn to love the Clean Energy Finance Corporation. Thank you for your support of the Clean Energy Finance Corporation's move to Sydney. We ask only that you will continue down this road and support clean energy initiatives along with other efforts to preserve green space, protect endangered species, and thwart global warming.
