WOMEN'S SOCIAL SECURITY CHECKS

We women work hard, pay into Social Security and when we retire we draw our SS benefit checks. BUT only while our husbands are alive. Did you women know this? Yes when our husbands die the USA government keeps our checks and gives us only the SS check our husband drew. Is this fair? No! Many women wind up impoverished because that 1-check want cover even basics monthly expenses. Many are forced to sell their homes, liquidate assets, move in with their children, go back to work in ill health and live the end of their lives broken in mind, spirit and body.
