Help Make it Illegal to own Tigers in Missouri and Help End Tiger Suffering and Abuse

In Missouri, you can own a tiger for $2,000 (USD), and a Siberian tiger for $8,000 (USD). This
makes tigers available to many, and since not everyone owns a zoo, or acres of free land, tigers may be kept in harmful conditions. They may be abused, kept in a small cage of crate, they may be starved or dehydrated, abandoned, or housed with other animals that may harm them or worse. This is a major concern because tigers are endangered. Sadly, only about 3,900 - 5,000 tigers remain in the wild, and only about 500 Siberian tigers remain in the wild as of 2019. If we don’t do something now, future generations will not get to enjoy these iconic, majestic, unique creatures. This means your children or grandchildren may not even ever know what a tiger was. Could you imagine only knowing what a tiger was through a history lesson? That is certainly not a world I want. It is illegal in a lot of states to own a tiger, although it is not in Missouri. Sadly, the state of Missouri has more laws about owning a dog then there are to own a tiger. Help me fix this problem by signing this petition. Thank you.
