I would like that the city of Ottawa change from the bylaw services to the city police the right to act upon the enforcement on all rental city properties,(at any hour-24-7), the issue of motorcycles riding on sidewalks.In the past bylaw has been overwhelmed and low staffed to service these issues.Also leaving it up to the landlords to deal with.That is to slow and landlords donot always know.
ie:At my rented residence( Manor Park -300 block) for the past 4 months at least 3 motorcycles have decided they own the rear and side sidewalks.This is of coarse is against the law.93.2,16.3,19.3,93.2,20.3 beacause they create noise disturbance,force adults,animals and worse" small children" off the sidewalk and the grass.WE do have a parking lot in front but they park and ride it right beside the back door windows.
Do we not value our childrens safety?

Still doing it-another complaint filed(they also have matresses piled up beside there office garage(old -dirty-graffetti(mopre than 2 months yet in plain view to the main road.Hmmm-enforcement-nah kiss their ass,,know it eveyone Manor Park in Ottawa Canada is queen and King in Ottawa-all bow down(been going on for 20 yrs at least!!Yep proof can be provided.RCMP hello.Hmmm

It seems the police have had success.This petition will say on so that the issue will be taken from the bylaw and always be put into the polices hands.A 62.3 is gone.cheers Good job!!

The police were notified and sent the request from themselves to the bylaw on Aug28,2014.Again this week and this weekend the motorcycle rides on the sidewalk.Nothing has changed!
I think all motorcycle problems should be directed to the police as it may be unsafe for a bylaw officer!! Motorcycle plate numbers Ontario #688J7 (black-18.4), Ontario #5822N (white 1male,1 female),and Ontario #1A2P9 ( is always parked there and uses the sidewalk almost daily and every weekend!
