York wild kingdom in York maine is a disgraceful zoo. The lack of caretaker and animal interaction. The size of the enclosures are to small for proper movement and everyday functions. Animals pace back and forth through out the entire day. If they are not pacing the animals sit in there corners with there heads down, or lay around. Not very much movement, A lot of the animals look malnourished. their African crane was extremely hurt. Looked like wing that was clipped unproperly, when I asked about it I was told to mind my own buisness, the animals was fine. I've seew children throwing rock's at monkeys for not moving and park staff laughing about it. Its also gets very cold in October and the park stay open until the end of October, many of the animals that they have are from southern continents and where shivering the last time I went to check on the animals. I want to see this place shut down and will do everything in my power to get the wild animal kingdom shut down. Zoos are not an educational purpose, expecailly this place All this place is, is a money maker.
