As of last year, the CP Student body received chrome books as a helpful tool to assist learning, and reduce the number of books needed. With the addition of these new chrome books, it was also permitted to carry backpacks as the chromebooks, books, and other supplies all together could become too heavy. This 2018-2019 school year, our backpack policy has been revoked. Resulting in the students of CP having to carry our chromebooks, by hand, along with any books and other supplies needed, from class to class. The solution, we believe, is to reinstate the original backpack policy, allowing students to carry their backpacks from class to class. We also believe this would lessen the chances of damages to the chromebooks. Sign and share this petition in hopes of bringing back our backpack rights.
