Demand end to wolf kill now

McIrvin is grazing his Cows on a den/rendezvous site. He is responsible for the killing of The Wedge Pack because he refused to make any efforts to protect his Cows. He pays $1,000 a year to run 200 head of cattle on over 200,000 acres of public land for three months a year. Just like Mr. Daschell ran his Sheep on top of a den site two years ago and those Wolves (including the breeding female) in the Huckleberry Pack were killed by helicopters on the taxpayers dime. Taxpayers spent over $125,000 in 2012 to kill seven members of The Wedge Pack (over $17,000 per Wolf) while Mr. McIrvin lost less than 1/5th of that in livestock.

All of these three killings were avoidable if only cattle farmers were responsible in the way that they conducted themselves. Negligence, irresponsibility and arrogance are rewarded by killing public animals on public land with public funds while private animals on public lands take precedence! The Cows will be removed for the season next week while the public killing of Wolves continues. Another pack will show up and the killing will continue forever until these allotments are permanently retired and there are no more Cows grazing on remote, steep, heavily forested public lands.
