Stop discrimination against disabiled and elderly

Why is it ok for rental properies refusing to rent to someone who does not make 3 times the rent.they might as well put no one on disability or Ssi need to apply what someone makes has nothing to do with if they pay there rent or not and they are getting away with discriminating
