MacBook Pro 15" (late 2016) Crashing while connecting/disconnecting external monitor.

Dear Tim Cook, Apple CEO,

This letter is to notify you about a product defect that affects many users and requires immediate attention/solution.

Users of the MacBook Pro late 2016 have been experiencing laptop crashes when connected to external monitor. The problem has been replicated/confirmed and documented in multiple videos. Apple was informed through official channels (Apple customer care communication, reports via Apple's developers website, physical visits to Apple stores, reports in official Apple forums).

Comparative videos with 3 different Apple MacBookPro models (2016 and 2017 ) tested against 4 different monitors (three LG 5K and one Apple thunderbolt) were provided to Apple demonstrating the wide spread nature of the issue. All monitors were purchased from Apple and the LG 5K is recommended by Apple for use with the MacBookPro 2016 and 2017.
No solution has been provided by Apple after more than 6 months.

This letter is to notify Apple about the widespread nature of this problem and request immediate remediation of the problem. Users should be provided with the option of replacement with a functional model or full refund of their money.

I hope that Apple will do the right thing and promptly address this issue.
