The San Diego State Research Foundation has posted a notice on our house (the ADX house) that says they are going to tear it down as of May 2020. They are planning on demolishing our home and the two homes next to us in order to build more apartments. This would displace sixteen women in our house and disconnect them from the community at SDSU. This action is unjust and inequitable, and we want to do everything in our power to make sure this doesn't happen.
We have a chance to show them what this place means to our community and how it has been a safe haven for many people over the past four decades. There will be hearings in regards to the status of our house on April 3rd and 10th at 7pm! The meetings will be held at Faith Presbyterian Church (the church across the street from the ADX house).
We appreciate any support we can get, even something as small as a signature on this petition. Let's show SDSU how important this house is to us!
