RFK Jr. repeatedly told senators his controversial 2019 trip to Samoa had "nothing to do with vaccines."
There's just one problem. There's a whole crapload of newly discovered documents that appear to show that is 99 44/100% bullshit.
Before RFK Jr. made the trip, he wrote Samoa's prime minister proposing that his team study the country's MMR vaccines -- and made multiple references to vaccines, vaccinations, and other related items.
Months later, Samoa suffered a horrific measles outbreak. 83 people died -- mostly young children.
One would think that would make the trip particularly memorable. And in fact, Sen. Ron Wyden is calling for a criminal investigation. Because lying to Congress can be a federal crime -- even if the person who testified was not under oath.
Maybe there's an innocent explantion, but how do you forget something that... memorable?
