Demand safer street crossing for employees

On a daily basis employees are crossing W. Broadway and W Spruce to enter St. Pats Hospital dealing with near car vs pedestrian accidents. For years St Pats has requested assistance from the city to help devise a better option to alert and slow traffic, allowing for safer passage for employees only to be ignored. Implementation of a pedestrian yellow flashing light would help to alert drivers when an employee is at the crosswalk to help precipitate alertness when approaching crosswalks near the hospital. The cost of the pedestrian flashing yellow lights being a much cheaper option to potential future legal issues from none action for bodily injury or even potential death.
