Nothing is wrong, I just desperately want a Disney Live-Action of Atlantis and Treasure Planet.
Disney has shown us time and time again on how to recycle classic and iconic productions, and somehow still blowing us away with the originality and beauty. However, there are two Disney films that are often overlooked, and have a low chance of ever receiving their live-action adaptation. These films are both Atlantis and Treasure Planet. Both masterful productions produced by Disney, and would create such wonderful live actions that would take these forgotten stories and giving them a new life on the screen. Both films teach important morals on cultural acceptance and life-long friendships that this world desperately needs today. These have always been my favorite Disney movies growing up, and I would love to see them reborn again on the big screen. Not only are these two films iconic in their own worlds, but both can give cultural representation that we haven't yet seen Disney portal in a while. Both Kida and Jim Hawkins would give a sense of identify to all walks of life and would create an on-screen display of not only cultural representation, but LGBTQ+ as well. This would give Disney a way to explore and create new material (Oceanic Lost World & Space Adventure) and adapting it to something we haven't seen before! Just think of the magic Disney could create with these two films. OOF! (I.E. We need a live action KIDA and Jim Hawkins like...now).
