Stop using cryptocurrencies which are pre-mined or have wasteful mining algorithms

Nearly all cryptocurrencies today either are pre-mined or have mining algorithms that are not designed to solve any scientific problem. Pre-mined cryptocurrencies have a central authority that issues all coins, controls the network, and unfairly profits from cryptocurrency. Other currencies have mining algorithms that waste resources on computational problems that do not solve any important scientific or technological problems. The only reasonable solution is to use a cryptocurrency with a mining algorithm that not only secures the network but is actually designed to advance science and solve a problem that is actually important such as the problem of reversible computation.
