Subway in the United Kingdom has made a decision to make nearly 200 stores "HALAL" only stores. Halal is the meat that Muslims are allowed to eat and includes very cruel methods of killing the animal by slashing its throat alive and draining the blood.
While it in itself is wrong to kill an animal like this, or in this authors opinion any way, for the consumption of humans, it is actually vile that a group of people, any people, could come into a nation and start to change the basic foundation, fabric and culture of that nation. In this case a direct parallel can be shown since the UK has had Jewish people for centuries yet never acquiesced to the Jewish equivalent of Halal, which is almost identical and called Kosher, yet due to the vocal minority of Muslims in the UK they have corporations yielding to them and changing British culture.
Please send a message that this is NOT acceptable in a multi-cultural country that has a long heritigae of its own to impose the will of relative newcomers on all.
