Reform Prisons colabrate with congress and President Trump On pardons
I am a grandmother, my grandson is 22 years old May 8 th 2018. He turned his self in to police April 13,2017.
He robbed smoke shops stole drug parrifanelia, money,
Held shoppers hostage. He had an accomplice with a gun. No one was shot hurt or killed. He used drugs since he was 14 years old. His buddy was also a drug user.
The two lived in his buddy’s car, they spent time at
Rocky Point Mexico. The two robbed many smoke shops
here in Arizona. The drugs totally influenced his decision
To do this crime. And he did not have the capacity to
realize consequences. All he thought about was get money for his habit. His sentence is for 6 years. This is
His first offense. He writes me and tells me how sorry
he is for what he has done. He is going to classes in prison, learning Spanish. He goes to church reads the
Bible. He works out, plays ball, and he is getting more
and more privaligies, he is on the prisons Insentive
Program. I helped raise him. His mom and my son
divorced when he was 4 years old. He lived at times
A few weeks with his mom then his dad, and with me.
He did not have a stable upbringing I don’t think.
He needs a second chance, I would be glad to see him
get released sooner, 6 years is a long time. I understand that our President is working on early pardons of
Some 30 prisoners. I know what kind of person my grandson is. He is kind, caring , and He did something
That he would of never done if he had not been on drugs.
I’m 74 years old I have health issues. I write him,
and will be going to see him. What can I do to help my
grandson , I know he did a terrible thing., but he
deserves a second chance. I would like to see him get a early pardon.
