Creation of Balearic Sanctuary for the bluefin tuna

The Spanish NGO ADDA (the organisation which defends animal rights and welfare) sailed once more in The Copa del Rey, in its 29th edition, to deliver a new message.

ADDA did it already last year with a general animal protection message. This time it made it with a motto that was giving a greater sense to the vessel: Save the blue fin tuna. Due to overexploitation and that the blue fin tuna is an endangered species, ADDA has used the boat Save the blue fin tuna to take part in this competition, spreading the message and supporting the creation of Balearic Sanctuary for the blue fin tuna.

As far as sports concerned, the Save the blue fin tuna obtained the 22nd place of the final classification of Rl 1 category.
