No Job Cuts on McGill's Campus!

We, the undersigned, strongly denounce McGill’s decision to cut jobs on campus, particularly while paying the outgoing principal a full year’s principal salary as well as at least a quarter of a million dollars annually thereafter. McGill should behave responsibly and deal with budget restraints through its capital fund and by spreading the cuts over several years, as other Quebec universities have done. Cutting jobs hurts students as well as employees! McGill should be spending its money to fulfill commitments to its own community! No job cuts on campus!
