A NYC Woman Collected and Neglected 100+ Dogs in Her Apartment

More than 100 dogs were crammed together in a horrifically filthy apartment in Brooklyn, New York - which authorities discovered after their 73-year-old owner died.

Authorities were called to the home due to reports of an "unresponsive" woman. When they arrived, they found her collapsed and unconscious on the floor. She was later pronounced dead.

While in the home, authorities were also alarmed to discover a huge collection of deeply neglected dogs. Many animals' hair had grown so long and so unclean, it matted together in solid chunks that made it painful for the animals to move. The home was covered in dirt, trash, and feces.

As a result, not only were dogs suffering from painfully matted hair, but many had developed infections and other illnesses. One dog was even actively in the process of birthing a new litter of puppies!

Multiple organizations worked together to rescue the 100+ dogs and to ensure they receive proper veterinary care. But the question remains: how did this situation get to be this way? How did no one notice sooner?

We have to prevent other animals from living in this kind of hell. Sign the petition to urge New York authorities to investigate how this woman was able to collect so many dogs and where the animals came from!
