Wish Judy Blume a Speedy Recovery From Breast Cancer

Judy Blume, familiar to millions for her iconic novels of adolescent angst, has been diagnosed with breast cancer. After a mastectomy with reconstructive surgery, she is recovering and once again writing. We're among the legions of your fans who were saddened to learn about your diagnosis of breast cancer --- and then more than inspired by your honest and straightforward acount on your blog of how you dealt with this news. We thank you more than we can say for your powerful writing and groundbreaking books, which have been friends to many of us and at a time in our life -- the onset of puberty, the teenage years -- of much confusion. We wish you a very speedy and peaceful recovery .
