Seperation of families at the border must come to an end

Hundreds of children are being separated from their family when they try to cross the border illegally. The parents are being labeled as criminals and are being sent to jail while the kids are being kept in government facilities or short term foster care for days and even weeks until they can contact the nearest relative in the US who can take in the child. The New York Times has reported that about 700 families have been separated from October 2017 to April 20, 2018. This must come to an end because it is very harsh to take away a child's parents. I want everyone to sign any petitions regarding this issue and maybe even participate in marches.
