Political official power needs to be limited in the USA

What I'm saying is that petitions and political officials should have limited power. So what I'm saying is that petitions and poltical officials should only do requests, not laws. Laws are made by a nomocracy or a constitution. But still allow petitions to go on and allow political officials to go on.
