Seligson, Founder and Senior Advisor to the Latin American Public Opinion Project (LAPOP), Centennial Professor of Political Science, and Professor of Sociology at Vanderbilt University, for the 2019 WAPOR Helen Dinerman Award. Over the past 45 years, Dr. Seligson's contributions to the field of public opinion have had far-reaching and significant effects on the quality and availability of public opinion data. His efforts have shaped his own research, and the investigations of hundreds of others in the realm of public opinion.
