Sadly people are diagnosed with cancer everyday. They live in pain and suffering while they battle this disease. Their families must endure this pain as well. Some are able to beat this battle while some do not. While their suffering may end their loved ones does not. Sometimes to help alleviate the stress of money on that person or their loved one, good hearted people donate their time and money to help these individuals and their families. There are horrible people in this world that find it as an opportunity to prey on these kind hearted people. It is becoming more common for people to fake these diseases to get monetary donations to benefit themselves. When these people are caught they are getting little to no punishment. Some have to pay back what was donated and some get probation. That is not enough. For anyone who has dealt with cancer or had family and friends deal with cancer, you know what a absolute heart breaking situation this is. It should not be something that is used as a scam. I propose that jail time is given to these frauds. Please help me take this to the top.
