This petition is currently to help set in motion the inadequate services that Medicaid programs are giving to NOT JUST ME (GeorgeAnna L Bell) but also other patients across the USA, INCLUDING OUR VETERANS! I feel a change is needed and if these changes are not made all disabled people across the USA will suffer more neglect by insurance company's hands.
As I have recently found out, people just within Arizona are being Mistreated, Neglected, and Denied medically needed services just to sustain life.
I personally had to choose between a roof over my head or medically needed medication. I choose Medication. I lived in a tent for days on end in 30-degree nightly temperatures.
Another woman in Tucson was denied medically needed treatments that doctors and her lawyers stated where needed to continue to sustain life. Yet appeal after appeal she is still denied medical treatments.
When are States and Federal Government going to stop treating disabled citizens worse than there illegal's?
When does it become wrong to allow insurance companies to make doctors choose their formularies over their own Hippocratic Oath?
When will the government see that bad faith is being used with in State and Federal insurance companies? Yet we are unable to file Bad Faith Lawsuit, because it is a government agency that is providing services. Is this morally correct?
