A 2011 bombshell report from the Los Angeles Times reveals that Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas' wife, Ginni Thomas, received over $700,000 in "income" from the epicenter of Republican ideology, the Heritage Foundation think tank between 2003 and 2007.
Thomas did not report any of this income for six straight years, marking spousal income as "none" on his Supreme Court financial disclosure forms. "It wasn't a miscalculation; he simply omitted his wife's source of income for six years, which is a rather dramatic omission. It could not have been an oversight," says NYU law professor Stephen Gillers.

Given the way that Justice Thomas has consistently ruled in lockstep on behalf of the Heritage Foundation agenda and the lengths that Thomas went to conceal the payments being made to his wife, he cannot be allowed to continue to issue rulings from the Supreme Court.
The Supreme Court is the only body in the country not governed by judicial ethics rules. It's about time that Congress took matters into its own hands and dealt with the wild corruption influencing decisions issued by our nation's highest court.
