Stop Elderly Bullying By Their Children

I am really disturbed by the number of Seniors that a being bullied by their family members, because they feel like they have not choices. My mother was bullied by my brother and no one did anything about it. I called APS 5 times and they came out and did nothing about it. I explained that she was being bullied, she told them that he was stilling her money and they did nothing about it. He would take her to the hospital and leave her there and would not come to visit her for days, and they did nothing about it. He alienated all her friends and other family members, and they did nothing about it. So in the end she died like an animal with no one to care for her, and I want to do something about it. I want to make sure that the elderly population have a voice. People turn their backs on elderly complaints because theirs no confidence in their ability to speak up for themselves. We have agencies that are designed to listen and protect the elderly and it is not happening.

My goal is to create a law that will make Senior agencies, police, hospitals, etc. take action when they hear or see that an elderly person is being abused. My mother did not have to die this way. it was clear that she was being abused and everyone turned their back. I am a senior advocate and I know several other senior people that went through abuse for fear that they did not have anyone to help them. Please help
