This petition is for the child soldiers in Uganda. This has become a big problem and I want to stop it by asking for help. I know that many people want to stop this too. Many kids are suffering right now because this problem.
The children of Uganada are abducted and used by th LRA (Lord's Resistance Army) in combat and other roles. They are forced to commit human rights abuses. The governments strategy of pusuing a military solution to the conflict contributed to increased the suffering and abuse against the civilian population.
The LRA is responsible for the killing, torture, rape, mutilation and abduction of thousands of adults and children. Also th UPDF (Uganda People's Defense Force) continued to hold the children captive from the LRA and use them for intelligence gathering to identify weapons.
