HERE IS THE FULL UPDATE I RECEIVED TODAY:

We called voters, we knocked on doors, we donated, we showed up at rallies, we talked to our friends and neighbors. And tonight, we won.
We defeated Christine Quinn and she won't be in the runoff. 85% of New York City Democrats voted for Anybody But Quinn.
I think back to how we started. Quinn was the clear front-runner and pundits were talking about how she might win the primary without a runoff. We didn't give up then.
Instead, we changed the narrative about Quinn. We made sure voters knew she was she was no friend to animals. We got that out there thanks to you and the results last night show just how much humane voters mattered.
That's a big victory for us and for all animal heroes in New Yorkers and on behalf of the whole Anybody But Quinn coalition, I can't thank you enough for how you contributed to this.
