My name is Connie Cox in October 2011 I signed an agreement to allow Mary Helen Cox (ex mother in law) to have temporary gardianship to my son Christian Thomas Oscar Cox. In the agreement it has stated that Connie Cox and/or Nathan Cox has to complete substance abuse treatment. I Connie Cox has completed an IN and OUT patient substance abuse treatment at Bradford Health Services and have the documents to prove it in court, since the paperwork was drawn up in the Chancery Court For Lawrence County, TN at Lawrenceburg. To my understanding through Mary Cox my son Christian Cox would get to come home as soon as I got myself help. That did not happen. Mary cox would let Christian come to my home and has told me numerous times she was signing my parenting rights back over to me. It always fell through. Nathan Cox, Mary's son, Christians father was incarcerated for the past 2 years and got out on parole September 2013. Mary Cox stated she was going to draw up a different Parenting Plan that Nathan and I would agree to. Nathan Cox was again incarcerated in Febuary 2014 for related drug offenses. Mary Cox is not letting my son Christian to come to my home and stay or letting me even come and pick him up and take him no where. This has been going on too long, I've wanted my son back in my custody for a long time now I'm not financially able to hire a lawyer. I've got several quotes and they were all over 2,000 or more. I have a 7 month old little girl and a stable home, I have also completed the terms of getting my son back on the agreed order. I really need this petitioned to court. Thank You.
