Jimi Jamison is one of the most recognizable voices of rock music ever, and he was without a doubt a gentle man, always ready to help those in need. In addition to the amazing music legacy he left behind when he passed away suddenly last year, Jimi was an important part of St Jude's Children Hospital in Memphis. He would never refuse to give time or money to good causes. And furthermore he was a beloved Dad, Grand Dad, and friend for those who were lucky enough to share a part of the road with him. He was also always very respectful with his fans, never refusing a photo or an autograph. For all these reasons, we would like to ask you, Mr Mayor, to consider the idea of naming a Memphis' street, avenue, park or way, to Jimi's memory.
Hopefully this will reach you as much as Jimi reached souls with his voice and generous heart, and this tribute will take place.
