Help Senior Citizens to Remain Safe, Live Independent and Comfortably in Their Own Home!

We are approaching a time in the United States in which there will be more senior citizens due to our ageing baby boomer population. Our country does not have enough senior citizen assisted living facilities to care for our loved ones, let alone, to be able to afford to live in one.

A new bill, sponsored by Representative Charlie Crist, has been introduced to the table! H.R. 1780 - Senior Accessible Housing Act would allow a tax credit that applies up to $30,000 of expenses towards modifying their home! Are you 60 years or older, or do you know someone who is? Do you, or the people you know need special modifications to their home to meet their unique needs? Do you want your parents or family members to continue living in a safe home, allowing them to live independently for a longer period of time? If you said yes to any of these questions, then we need this bill to pass!

6.01 Social Welfare - We need to help promote the general welfare of society! This bill would help facilitate the unique needs that the senior citizens need to continue living in a safe environment.
