Don't Allow the Monster Shark Tournament to Continue!

Every year, the Monster Shark Tournament happens in Massachusetts allowing the killing of sharks for 3 days. The tournament only allows three types of sharks to be counted, but two of the three sharks on the list are vulnerable. The other shark is an endangered species. Allowing this to continue will contribute to the significant decline and eradication of a species that has been around for 450 million years.

About the Sharks:

Thresher Sharks: A shy shark that poses little threats to humans. This shark is considered a vulnerable species.

Porbeagle Sharks: International Shark Attack File attributes only 3 bites from these species: 1 provoked attack and 2 on boats while fishing. This shark is considered a vulnerable species.

Mako Sharks: A shark that does not pose a threat to humans and has only been known to bite a human when provoked or caught on a fishing line. This shark is considered an endangered species.
