Stop the rich from destroying the Grand Canyon

The news isn’t covering this and some very rich people want to keep it that way. Italian developer bought 3.5 million sq feet less than 10 miles away from the edge of the Grand Canyon, they plan to build 2000 houses, a spa, convention centre and potentially a water park. The only water available is groundwater pumped from an aquifer that feeds important springs. It would lower the aquifer levels which are the sole source for havasupai falls and havasu creek that the havasupai tribe relies entirely on.it will also drastically increase road and air traffic as well as noise and light pollution.like I said there’s barely any media coverage. Tagging and sharing won’t help in the endgame * avengers pun totally intended* so please sign it if you care about keeping the Grand Canyon safe and unpolluted.
