Animal Safety from Police Raids and Cruelty

Too many times have I read that the police show up to a residence and see animals on the property. Thinking the animal is a threat for barking and protecting its territory and home. I have read and seen footage of Police Officers shooting and killing these animals even though some were just barking. I have read also that a Police K9 dog has the same rights as a Police Officer but yet our own personal animals do not? How is this fair? How can a government dictate one animals life is more important then another. That's the same as saying one person's life is more important then another. This is not so, we were all created equal. Too many times have law enforcement been cleared and not held accountable by our government and judicial system and for this I ask for support to bring this to our Governments attention that we as people need and demand the safety of our beloved animals from cruelty by abusive Police Officers.
