PETITION TO OPPOSE HIGH SCHOOL TRAFFIC ON VON KOLNITZ ROAD
Lucy Beckham is the new 48-acre high school on Mathis Ferry and Whipple Roads (old Wando). We, the undersigned, believe traffic from high school games conducted 1⁄2 mile away at the elementary school will compromise elementary school and emergency transport safety. We want CCSD to maintain and preserve the existing 140’ buffer between James B. Edwards school/any CCSD project and the adjoining Parish Place neighborhood. We ask CCSD and public officials to notify us immediately of all applications, studies and permit requests and to provide reasonable public consultation on any change to the existing James B. Edwards grounds (TMS# 559-00-00-064).
