Urge Mississippi Governor Phil Bryant to Legalize Same-Sex Couples Adoption

In Mississippi, couples of the same gender may not adopt jointly. The state adopted a law banning adoption and fostering by same-sex couples in 2000, and by 2015 it was the only state that continued to enforce such a ban. Proponents of adoption by gay parents usually cite the following arguments:

As mention on Wikipedia, "There are little or no differences between children raised by same-sex or straight couples. For that reason, sexual orientation of the parents has no relevance when it comes to raising a child. Evidence confirming that despite those opposed to LGBT parenting, same-sex couples can provide good conditions to raise a child. For the children, adoption is a better alternative to orphanage. Less formalities for step-parents in everyday life, as well as the situation of a death of a biological parent of a child."
