We demand the Mayor of London resigns immediately
The Mayor of London wields significant pan london powers with regard to:
- policing
- transport
- planning
- environment
- Arts
It is an unquestionable fact that other holders of similar powers are banned from being a member of Parliament.
It is high time that both the Privy Council and Parliament made provisions to prohibit the Mayor of London standing or sitting as an Member of Parliament.
