Support Older Foster Care Youth!

Older foster care youth need a great deal of support when they turn eighteen and they are exiting the Foster Care System. Policy HR.2847 will improve services for older youth in foster care if it is passed. This policy will allow states to extend foster care Eligibility up until the age of twenty-one. Older foster care youth need a chance at having a successful transition into adult hood and this policy would definitely assist with that. Under the NASW codes of Ethics, code 6.01 states that the development of people and communities should be advocated for and by signing this petition you will be doing just that.
