Save our Oceans! Stop releasing balloons!

Balloons released in the sky may offer hope and comfort to people who've suffered loss, however when they deflate it becomes dangerous and detrimental to sea creatures. Please join me in the fight to protect our seas by banning the release of balloons. We encourage people to release paper lanterns which are biodegradable and harmless to our sea friends.

  • My 10 year old determined to save sea life from the potential dangers of balloons and the ribbons tied around them when released to the sky.  After she visited a marine hospital and started at a coastal science school, she was saddened and shocked to learn how the remnants of the balloons, once deflated, can harm or even kill sea life.  Help me save them!
