NBC's Parenthood is one of those shows that has a unique ability to reach millions of families by tackling issues that all of us have experienced at some point in our lives. It's a beautiful marriage of family, humor and real LIFE. Not only are the story lines relatable, the characters are each developed so deeply and truly give life to the stories and touch the audience in a way that no other show has done before. It's also a show that parents don't have to DVR for later, when the kids are asleep. Reality television is not real, sitcoms provide an occassional laugh but shows like Parenthood impact peoples lives. I urge NBC to keep Parenthood alive, give it a prime time spot (where it doesn't compete with other popular shows) and raise the bar again with what it means to have an incredibly honest and real produced show that gives the audience QUALITY television.
