"A 28-year-old Detroit-area woman has been charged after vehicle battery jumper cables were used to hang her mother's pet dog.
"The Wayne County prosecutor's office says Shavon Lewis-Roby was arraigned Thursday in Detroit's 36th District Court on a charge of second-degree animal killing.
"The dog was found dead Sunday afternoon hanging from a gate on Detroit's east side," according to the Associated Press.
Can you imagine how much that poor dog suffered?
Think of that helpless little dog running up to his killer wagging its tail, hoping to be loved and petted...
But all it got was a noose around its neck.
People like this can't be allowed to roam free.
