We Demand the Fence Be Closed

Back in October 2016, the fence leading to Taylor's Creek Mobile Home Park was opened into the Crossgate Subdivision. Hurricane Matthew made it necessary to open the fence so the MHP had a way to exit neighborhood. Since then, the fence has not been put back up, resulting in high traffic volume and speeding into Crossgate. The residence of MHP pass through here doing at least 40 to 45 mph. We have notified the local authorities however we want them to close the park to local traffic. The Sheriff of Cumberland County said that the MHP owns the fence but by law he cannot make them put it back up. Sheriff Deputies have patrolled the area giving out numerous speeding tickets. Our petition is going to be presented to the local county commissioner for help.
