For far too long, the Trump Administration has thrown alarming, truthful science to the curb. It is factual that climate change is killing millions of people, and it endangers countless metropolitan areas throughout the world. Nevertheless, the Trump administration is still putting Earth's biodiversity in grave danger, all so that they can rake in Big Oil profits, and so that they can continue to live in the lap of extreme luxury. For example, the Trump Administration has proposed the construction of a wall along the US-Mexico border. Not only would this violate the mountainous geography of that region, it would murder an extremely biodiverse butterfly sanctuary, the construction would drain the Earth of critical resources, it would pollute the air and groundwater of the region, and it would cause floods by crippling the Rio Grande river which runs along the US-Mexico border. If this destructive wall isn't bad enough, the Trump administration has tried to foil legislation that protects clean water and clean air so that filthy, rich, greedy government officials like them can make more money. Furthermore, the Trump Administration recklessly pulled out of the Paris Agreement, an international agreement to curb the most devastating impacts of global warming. The majority of Americans support strong environmental action. The Earth is not our personal trash can. It's time to save it before it's too late. In the words of President Barack Obama, "No challenge poses a greater threat to future generations than climate change".
