Save our Parish Councils and Parish Meetings.

A Bill was passed and returned to the Commons with amendments from the House of Lords on the 17th January thisd Bill is named Data Protection Bill. this is also known to many as GDPR a European Bill according to the bill all parish councils and parish meetings will have to have a Data Protection Officer which could cost each of them upto £500 PA this will have to be paid by the residents of the Parish. Some parishes can afford this ,smaller parish councils and parish meetings do not have a precept as large as this and some do not have a precept, this could mean that we could loose these hard working coucils.

I ask that everyone approach your local MP and ask that smaller parish councils and meetings with less than 100 inhabitants are not includedmin this bill
