Demand the Jones County Sheriff's office receives a budget increase for fiscal year 2019!

Currently the Jones County Sheriff's Office operates on a 5.1 Million dollar budget. Per shift only 4 deputy's are patrolling Jones County on any given day. The County is overrun with Drugs and thieves, the added budget will greatly enhance the safety of the citizens in Jones County by providing more deputy's and Investigators prevent and/or solve crimes in our community. To do this the budget needs to be increased by 2.1 Million for a total of 7.2 Million. In contrast just the city of Laurels (law enforcement) budget is at 5 Million alone! Jones County has an enormous amount of area to cover as well as provides the operating budget for the jail.
