Empowering the powerless to remove obstacles

There’re are 1000 of veterans, disabled Americans, outcast in every area of our society. The main reason is because somewhere down the line we turned a blind eye to humanity. There are things that are simple that we can do to get our vision back and give them gift of sight. We need to start smiling and interacting with anyone who seems to have some sort of need.
If a person is disable and can’t quite do something ,we should take it on ourselves to lend that hand up. No one wants to feel like they are worthless and inadequate. That one smile, that one phrase,”You can do it! I believe in You” will make more of a difference than looking away and not seeing.
