I am writing this letter to formally appeal the decision outcome of the NLC's Council of Youth, Education, and Families (YEF Council).
I have become desperately devoted to my education and extracurriculars because of programs like National League of Cities. I saw knowledge as the key to freeing myself from the chains of ignorance. I promised myself that I would memorize every fact and absorb every detail in textbooks.
The National League of Cities has made me grown into a mature teenager and has kept me involved with my city and nation in a variety of ways. My involvement with various community service and improvement organization has opened many doors for me. It had led me to discover a whole new interest that I never thought I would be interested in. As you may have read previously, some organizations that I am involved with are Carolina Healthcare System, Charlotte-Mecklenburg Youth Council, Propelling Adolescents in Careers in Healthcare (PATCH) and much more.
