Deputies Seized 15 Dogs From a Suspected Fighting Operation. Adams County Still Hasn't Filed Charges.

On a Tuesday morning in July, Adams County sheriff's deputies executed a search warrant at a property on Lily Lane. They seized 15 dogs. The animals were allegedly neglected, abused, and malnourished. Investigators suspect they were victims of dog fighting.

A citizen tip started it. Animal Rescue Corps drove down from Nashville. Animal Rescue of New Orleans helped. A local veterinary clinic took the dogs in and began treating them. One of the people who helped rescue them said the dogs were "craving" love. After everything that was done to them, they still wanted to be near people.
