Urge the City of Olean to keep N. Union Street 4 lanes

N. Union street..route 16, is a major street in the city.  The Common Council would like to make this a 2 lane street with a median down the middle.  This will greatly impede traffic flow.  If there is a accident or a fire call the street will be totally blocked and the waiting vehicles will have no where to go.  Snow removal is also a issue. If parking spaces will be back in only,this will further congest traffic and create the likelyhood of accidents occurring. This will not entice people to use N. Union street...It will encourage them to avoid it.  If you are against the 2 lane street, please sign the petition and it will be presented to the Common Council.
